Indications
- Management of Essential Hypertension
- Combination Therapy: Second-line therapy for patients requiring dual-action blood pressure reduction to reach target clinical guidelines.
Key Benefits
- Synergistic Dual-Action Control: Combines an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (Irbesartan 150 mg) with a Thiazide Diuretic (Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg) to deliver additive and complementary blood pressure-lowering effects.
- Enhanced Efficacy over Monotherapy: Provides superior systolic and diastolic blood pressure reduction compared to either component used alone, helping more patients achieve target BP goals.
- 24-Hour Continuous Protection: Ensures smooth, sustained 24-hour blood pressure control with a single daily dose, minimizing morning blood pressure surges and cardiovascular risk.
- Optimized Tolerability Profile: Combining Irbesartan with Hydrochlorothiazide helps mitigate certain diuretic-induced metabolic side effects (such as hypokalemia), offering a balanced safety and tolerability profile.
- Improved Patient Compliance: Single-pill combination therapy simplifies the daily medication regimen, significantly enhancing long-term treatment adherence in hypertensive patients.
